He is also a recognized speaker on Direct Tax matters. Deeply committed to the profession’s development, Mr. Gaur has held significant leadership roles within the Northern India Regional Council (NIRC) of ICAI, including serving as Convener and Deputy Convener for multiple committees and leading the East End CPE Study Circle. He currently leads as President of the Northern India Chartered Accountants’ Society. His contributions extend nationally with appointments to the ICAI’s Task Force for Cooperatives & NPO Sectors and the GST Grievance Redressal Committee.

For his efforts, he was awarded “India’s Business Master 2025.” Extending his leadership into wider community engagement, Mr. Gaur serves as General Secretary of the Indian Center for Art and Culture. Notably, his thought leadership on tax policy, specifically the concept that “Penalty cannot be treated as a source of Revenue,” has been recognized and studied internationally, evaluated via an econometric model at Trinity College (USA)
